BRONZE MEET INFORMATION - Wednesday June 20 - South River Colony

Parents of Bronze Meet Swimmers -

Tonight, I've received meet information for all the Medal meets. Please read thoroughly. All medal meets will be large and have a lot of people and will most likely be larger than any Divisional meet we've attended in the past.

WARM UPS:

The pool opens to swim meet participants at 3:30pm. Arrive at the pool no later than 3:45pm. The pool parking lot, golf club and nearby cul-de-sacs are off limits for parking. Park on Colony Crossing on the east and west side of Route 2. IT IS REQUIRED TO USE THE BRIDGE OVERPASS FOR CROSSING ROUTE 2. There will be golf carts and parking attendants to assist. Warm ups start promptly at 4pm in lanes 1 and 2 only and lasts only 15 minutes. The meet starts at 5:30pm.

VOLUNTEERS:

Thanks to our awesome Stroke and Turn officials (Chris Guy, Erin Claxton, Tess Seege and Jay Brinson) for volunteering their services at the Medal meets, we are only required to provide 6 volunteers at the Bronze meet. We need a timer (for lane 4), ribbons and runner for both the first half and second half. Please sign up using SwimTopia just like the regular dual meets. All volunteers must check into the volunteer table by 4:30pm at the volunteer table by the front entrance.

TEAM STAGING AREA:

All teams will sit outside of the pool deck area (on the grass). There is no seating on the pool deck. Parents are not allowed in the staging (clerk of course) area. Make sure you bring chairs and a tent. If anyone wants to bring the Southdown Sharks tent, please let me know. It doesn't fit in my car. See the attached diagram on where our team (SST) will sit.

CONCESSIONS:

There will be lots of dinner options and regular meet type food, such as hamburgers, nachos, pizza, taco in a bag, fruit and desserts.

I'll be sending out Silver and Bronze meet info tomorrow. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks,

Michelle
