Swim Meet TOMORROW 6/17 - Away at Admiral Heights
Hello Shark families,
Ice cream Friday was a big hit! We couldn't have done it without the following volunteers:
Sarah Harrigan, Tess Seege, Jane Eubanks, Bailey Bernius, Candance Lunsway, Chris Wooden, Tara Earp, Kyle Henn, Lisa Albany, Erin Lytle, Lori Naylor.
Thank you for your service!
NOW... THE IMPORTANT MEET INFORMATION:
*Please arrive at Admiral Heights swim club by 7:00am.
160 Porter Drive Annapolis, Maryland 21401
*Parking is tricky, and you may need to walk a bit, so try to arrive with time to spare. There are no restrictions on parking, but please be courteous to the hosting neighborhood. There is a small parking lot but most parking will be on the streets.
*Our team area is down on the grass by the volleyball court. Our Southdown Sharks Tent should be visible, but there is limited seating. We recommend that families bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
*Warm ups begin at 7:30am. SWIMMERS MUST WEAR A CAP AND GOGGLES.
*Please write your swimmers' information in Sharpie marker on their inner arm (or have a quick info card for them to refer to). SWIMMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHOWING UP TO CLERK OF COURSE PRIOR TO THEIR EVENT! They should have their Event Number, Heat Number, and Lane Number for each event they are swimming.
*The meet program and the heat sheet are attached to this email. (If you would like a copy at the meet, please print one for yourself).
*Big Shark/Little Shark list is attached to this email.
*Remember to bring a treat for your Big Shark/Little Shark partner. A "treat bag" consists of a note of encouragement, and maybe a drink and a treat. There will be "Shark-grams" for sale for $1 (cash only) at the beginning of warm ups. The Bigs and Littles need to find each other, or ask a teammate for information. COACH IS NOT AVAILABLE TO DIRECT YOU TO YOUR PARTNER SHARK. There will be a Snack Shack - so be prepared for one thousand requests for dollars.
*Volunteers please check in with Erin Claxton (in a white Team Rep t-shirt) upon your arrival for assignment.
*Cheer for your swimmers, cheer for your swimmers' friends and teammates, cheer for the little ones, and cheer for the big ones.
*Have the BEST. TIME. EVER. (and the best times... get it?!?!)
Please let us know if you have any further questions. We look forward to a great first swim meet!
