Happy Friday Sharks! 

Today is our first Fun Friday in the pool and we will be practicing relays! As we wrap up our 2nd week of practice, the water is getting warmer and the swimmers are getting more comfortable in their lanes and with our coaching staff. We do have another assistant coach on deck this year and I realized that I forgot an introduction! On our assistant coaching staff this year is Coach Kaitlyn, Coach Patrick, and Coach Jillian. There are several older swimmers that help our with our little Blacktips.  Coach Kaitlyn is new to us this season. She was the head coach for the Southern High School Swim Team following a year of assistant coaching. She grew up competitively swimming for her summer team for 8+ years and continued on to captain her team at Southern High. 

In about 2 weeks we will switch to morning practices full time and we will begin early morning clinics from 7:30-8:00am. There will be a $5 drop in fee, cash only. These clinics will allow for swimmers to receive more specialized technique and extra practice in a small group. Our first clinic will be held on Friday June 20th. Clinics will run Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays.
