Team Photo & Year-Round Swimming
Happy Tuesday Sharks!
Tomorrow, Wednesday 6/25, at 9:00am we will take our team photo. I ask that your swimmer wear either their team suit or their Southdown Sharks t-shirt from this year. Mako swimmers are welcome to join the Blacktips practice at 8am or the Great Whites immediately after our photo.
This is also the time to think about year round opportunities for swimming. There are winter rec sessions through AACo Parks & Rec that are available come January that I will send more information about towards the end of the season. However, club swimming tryouts are beginning now and going through the first couple weeks of July. I will link some websites below that have information about tryouts for each team. Club swimming can be competitive depending on the team so I will happily help prepare swimmers that are willing and able. If you have questions about commitment level and experience then please reach out, I would love to see more Southdown Sharks in winter swimming!
