Happy Thursday Sharks!

I was waiting for the official results or this would’ve come sooner. I have attached the results for the Bronze meet that took place last night. There were so many incredible swims!! Honorable mention to Libby Henn, Ava Paepcke, and Jacob Poole’s 25 breast (where he was the only 7-8 boy in the entire meet in breastroke). Both our Mens and Womens free relays took 1st place!

Translating our swimming from yards to meters can be tricky but our Sharks did a fantastic job and I have no doubt that our fellow Sharks will blow it out of the water at the Silver and Gold meets. Our team did a great job cheering on our own teammates as well. The camaraderie among Southdown was heart warming and noticeable to all coaches.

If you haven’t gotten enough swimming this week and you’re free Sunday morning, I encourage you to come support our Gold swimmers at Hunt Meadow. This is the first time Southdown has relays at the Gold meet. There will be some really incredible races and fast competition.
