Happy Tuesday Sharks!

This will be the last email you receive from the Southdown Sharks until next season. I have attached the Silver and Gold results. Thank you to all our volunteers especially at the Medal meets. We cannot do this without you!!

We had some incredible swims this past weekend, especially from our Sharks who earned 1st place. Christian Bertram in 100 IM at the Gold meet, Audrey Wooden in 50 back at Silver and Claire Seege in 25 breast at Silver. Cooper Matonak also earned a 3rd place in 25 back at the Gold Meet. Michael Jay Forrester earned 2nd place at the Silver meet, with MJ earned a new 50m free record! Siena Atkinson, Ayda Ulrich, Jameson Casey, Ryan Youmans, Eliana Jeffords, Jacob Poole, and Zachary Gallina all placed in the top 3 at the Silver Meet. 

If you missed the Banquet on Sunday then please stop by the pool to pick up your awards bag (and a lovely Southdown plaque for new swimmers) that contains your swimmer's annual tag for their plaque along with their ribbons, an athlete report card, and some goodies. I have also put together a photo album of all my years here as head coach beginning in 2018. I have left it at the pool with the lifeguards for the next few weeks so if you find yourself at the pool take a look at it, especially if you have been a Shark for a few years. 

Thank you for all 9 summers, for shaping my young adulthood, and letting me yell at your kids. I'll still be around in the Annapolis area so feel free to reach out. Keep on swimming in whatever way brings you enjoyment!!
